This is the starting point for all programmes.
Before working together, it’s important to understand where your communication is already effective—and where it becomes less consistent.
What this is
This is a structured, 25–30 minute conversation focused on real situations from your work.
We’ll look at how you currently:
– explain your point in meetings
– respond when you disagree
– guide or lead discussions
The aim is to identify where communication is working—and where it’s not having the intended impact.
What this is not
This is not:
– a general English assessment
– a trial lesson
– a sales presentation
If it becomes clear that this kind of work isn’t relevant, I’ll tell you.
Who this is for:
This is most useful if you:
– already work in English regularly
– are generally comfortable communicating
– want to be more effective in high-stakes situations
What usually comes up
In many cases, the issue isn’t language.
It’s:
– the message not being clear enough
– the point coming too late
– or the response being too indirect to influence the outcome
These are patterns we can identify quite quickly.
What happens after the call
By the end of the conversation, you’ll have a clearer understanding of:
– how you currently communicate
– where things become less effective
– whether a structured programme would be useful
If it is, I’ll explain what that would look like.
It helps to have one or two real situations in mind.
For example:
– a meeting where your point didn’t land
– a situation where you held back
– a discussion that didn’t go as expectedFinal note
At this level, improvement usually comes from small adjustments in how you communicate—not from learning more English.
The purpose of this call is simply to identify where those adjustments are needed.
