How each session works

The same format every month.

Predictability is intentional. When participants know the format, they come prepared — and the conversation goes deeper.

    Welcome & warm-up; 5 minQuick introductions and a scene-setter question to open the conversation.

    Core discussion; 20 minThe session theme, explored through peer experience. What's working? What isn't? What surprised you?
  3. 3
    Hot seat; 15 minOne participant shares a live challenge. The group responds with honest questions and perspective. The most valued part of every session.
  4. 4
    Takeaways round; 8 minEach person shares one thing they're taking away or trying differently before the next session.
  5. 5
    Close; 2 minA preview of next month's theme and a quiet end to the conversation.

  • No selling; this is peer discussion, not a pitch environment
  • Speak from experience; real situations, not theory

Colin Dorman

I've spent twenty years working with senior professionals on what actually happens in the room — the gap between what they think and what comes out when it matters most.

The roundtable grew out of those conversations. I kept hearing the same challenges from different leaders — resistance, communication, authority, momentum — and realised that the most useful thing I could do was create a space for those people to talk to each other.

I facilitate each session, but I don't present at them. The value comes from the people in the room.
